A year ago I had the priveledge of working with Abby & Eric to design and plan their wedding. Happy anniversary Abby & Eric!
Eric grew up going to the Davis Island Yacht Club regularly as several of his family members sailed. It was an important place to him and his family and I love that Abby and Eric decided to get married there. Meeting with them to plan their wedding at DIYC I was blown away by this hidden gem in Tampa on Davis Islands. The location has 360 degrees of stunning views of the bay.
Abby started her morning getting ready in their home and I love that she did that. I am sure it was a much more relaxing experience.
Abby and Eric decided on a first look and portraits before the ceremony. This allowed them to have their portraits taken at an alternative location that they wanted on the islands and I love how their portraits turned out.
Their ceremony took place on their lawn, followed by cocktail hour in the pavilion, dinner upstairs, then dancing and celebrating back downstairs in the pavillion. There was a lot of dancing and celebrating thanks to their band, Reverend Barry and the Funk.
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Abby and Eric had a table full of cakes with different flavors from Wright’s Deli, a Tampa favorite. It was a big hit!
